I'd like to add that my main fear of writing is that it won't matter. After I pour my heart out and write with the intention to increase awareness of a sensitive issue, readers will be like "we already know, you aren't telling us anything new, why are you over-thinking so much, your experiences are not 'unique'". I won't get the acceptance or the space I hope to get out of writing. My writing will be questioned or dismissed as being invalid or unimportant.
